In the coming weeks, all students Kindergarten \u2013 5th<\/sup> grade will be introduced to the Child Safety Matter<\/em>s curriculum. Child Safety Matter<\/em>s is an abuse prevention education curriculum designed for Pre-K and elementary-aged children, created by the Monique Burr Foundation.\u00a0 This district approved curriculum introduces students to personal safety, understanding safe and unsafe situations and teaching them the MBF 5 Safety Rules to use in any situation when they may feel unsafe.\u00a0 This curriculum meets the new state mandate to teach child trafficking prevention.\u00a0 For more information please visit mbfpreventioneducation.org<\/a><\/span>\u00a0and the Florida Department of Education.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
