Welcome to Ms. Marsh's Page!                ** Please check out the homework link  to be sure your child is completing nightly assignments! ** Helping your child study for their Vocabulary test throughout the week is very important! I use vocab. words that come from the story we're reading as well as the Word Up vocab. series I'm implementing this year. Research shows that teaching students different types of vocabulary words and their meanings helps them to become better readers. Spelling words will be from FCAT vocab. lists that have been compiled from a variety of resources. These words and their meanings are discussed in class each Monday. Students are expected to study the spelling of the words and their meanings throughout the week!. Students will take a vocab. test. and spelling test each Friday unless noted in their planners!!!!!    **Please email me with any concerns or questions! marshe@stjohns.k12.fl.us **Remember to check supplies often and replace when needed!
