Ketterlinus Elementary School Media Center Policies and Procedures
The media center is open each day at 8:00 a.m. and closes at 3:30 p.m. with the exception of Wednesday when it closes at 2:00 to allow for staff development meetings. Kindergarten through fifth grade students meet as a class twice per month providing lessons and activities ranging from information finding skills to literature enrichment. The media center is always open on a flexible access, even during scheduled classes, to allow students to access information as needed, when it is pertinent. Flexible access allows for collaborative instruction as well as independent use.
